Frequently asked questions

How much do music lessons cost?

Private one-on-one lessons start from $49 for 30 minutes. Group lessons start from $35, and Mini Musos early-childhood classes from $25. You can book a trial lesson, with no commitment to enrol.

Is there any obligation after a trial lesson?

None at all. A trial lesson is a relaxed, no-obligation chance to meet your teacher, try your instrument and see if we are the right fit before you enrol for the term.

What age can my child start?

From age 3 in our Mini Musos early-childhood classes. Private instrument lessons typically start from around age 5, and we teach all ages through to adults.

Do you offer classes for preschoolers (ages 3 to 5)?

Yes. Mini Musos is our early-childhood program for ages 3 to 5, drawing on the Early Years Learning Framework, with real instruments, movement and play.

What instruments do you teach?

We teach piano, guitar, drums, singing and bass, with private and group lessons for every age. If there is an instrument you do not see, just ask, our teaching team is always growing.

Private or group lessons?

Both. Private lessons are tailored entirely to the student. Group lessons are a social, affordable way to learn alongside others.

Where are you, and is there parking?

Our studio is at 4B/26 Somerset Avenue, Narellan NSW 2567, with on-site parking, easy to reach from across the Macarthur region.

Which suburbs do you serve?

Families come to us from Narellan, Camden, Oran Park, Gregory Hills, Harrington Park, Mount Annan, Currans Hill, Elderslie, Cobbitty, Leppington, Spring Farm, Catherine Field and Campbelltown.

What if my child has never played, or is shy?

That is completely normal, and exactly what we are here for. Our teachers are patient and encouraging, and the trial is a no-pressure way to ease in.

How long is each lesson, and how does a term work?

Private lessons run for 30 minutes, weekly through the school term, with longer lessons available on request. We'll help you find a regular time that suits your family.

Do you run school-holiday camps?

Yes. Our holiday camps keep young musicians inspired through the breaks. Get in touch for upcoming dates.

Do you offer music therapy?

Yes. Goal-based music therapy is available with qualified, independent music therapists who work from our studio. Get in touch to discuss whether it suits your situation.

Does my child need their own instrument to start?

Not to begin. For the trial and early lessons we can help you get started, and we'll advise on hiring or buying when the time is right.

Are your instructors qualified and WWCC-checked?

Yes. Every instructor holds a current NSW Working With Children Check, which we verify as part of our child-safe practices, and brings real teaching and performance experience.

Can adults take lessons too?

Absolutely. It is never too late. We teach adult beginners and returning players across all our instruments.

How do I book a trial?

Fill in the short form on our contact page, or call +61 480 853 478. We'll be in touch within one business day.

What happens after the trial?

If it is a great fit, you simply enrol for the term. If it is not quite right, that is completely okay, with no obligation.
